Who I am
Sunsets have always called to me. There’s something profound in the delicate transition between day and night, sun and moon, light and darkness. It mirrors the impermanence within me, reminding me that, like the changing seasons, we too must hibernate only to flourish again. This ebb and flow is the rhythm by which I live, constantly adapting to the shifting landscapes of people, places, and cultures around me.
My journey into the mind began long ago, in the quiet realization that thoughts are not mine alone. As a child, I marveled at the idea that everyone carries a universe inside them. I’ve always been drawn to what people hold sacred, to the mysteries that shape their inner lives. This spark of curiosity ignited a desire to visit sacred spaces, to touch the essence of beliefs and religions across the world.
Later, studying psychology seemed like the natural next step, giving me a deeper understanding of the mind’s nature. However, traditional psychology alone wasn't enough to fully touch the totality of human beings.
For me, the mind, body, and spirit have always been woven together; inseparable threads of the human experience. This led me to a holistic approach, a deeper dive into the soul’s landscape. Yoga, Dance, Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine, Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, Catholicism, Traveling, Conscious Eating, Homeopathy, Reiki, Acupuncture, Meditation, Tarot, Ritualistic Practices, Psychedelic Therapy, Conscious Breathing have all been part of my journey, among other practices I’ve embraced on my personal path of healing.
Each one has touched me, helping me heal and grow, shaping how I walk alongside others on their own paths of transformation.
My Approach
Guided by a rich academic background and a deep commitment to holistic therapies, I believe in creating truly mind-opening experiences that invite exploration of the self on multiple levels - psychological, emotional, and spiritual. Through integrative therapies, including Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, I aim to foster profound healing that honors both modern scientific understanding and ancient traditions.
My innate curiosity about people, their beliefs, cultures, and religions has guided me to understanding the diverse ways of living and enriched my perspective on human nature. With extensive experience in hospital settings, emergency rooms, and palliative care, I have supported individuals through some of the most critical moments of their lives
These experiences have profoundly shaped my approach as a psychologist. By embracing different worldviews, having navigated end-of-life experiences, and appreciating the richness of various traditions, I integrate a global perspective into my practice. This enables me to connect with people on a deeper level, honoring the complexities of both individual and collective human experiences.
My personal experiences empower me to identify multiple perspectives from oneself situation connecting past, present and future, facilitating a deeper understanding of the beliefs and emotions.
Together, we will embark on a journey that balances evidence-based practices with the nurturing power of holistic care, offering a pathway to lasting transformation.
Becoming a Psychedelic Therapist
I started this new path not only as a career change but also a life change. What began as a spark in my heart has become the most transformative thing I have ever done.
I believe in the power of psychedelics as medicine because I’ve witnessed the incredible changes in myself and because science has shown that when combined with therapy, psychedelics can significantly improve well-being and reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, among other positive outcomes.
However, there is a long way ahead of us. More research is needed to fully understand the efficacy and potential risks of psychedelics.
This fascinating topic intertwines ancestral knowledge with modern science, politics, and profound desires.
